Description: Australia House is at the east end of the Strand. Australian soldiers march to the building. King George arrives in his carriage with Queen Mary. A view of the facade of the building with the King and Queen looking out from a balcony. The King inspects the guard of Australians.The King and Admiral Sir David Beatty come up the gangplank onto the New York and salute. Rear-Admiral Rodman greets them. The ship's marines come to the salute. A portrait shot of Rodman.The service at Saint Margaret's, Westminster. King George V and Queen Mary arrive in an open landau. The church has an awning and red carpet outside. They are greeted by the Archbishop of Canterbury and enter the church. With them are the Duke of Connaught, Princess Maud and Princess Victoria. A crowd watches from behind barriers, with newsreel cameramen among them. The members of the Lords and Commons also parade into the church, led by the parliamentary officials in full robes. Lloyd George leads in the cabinet with Balfour next to him. On the same day members of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps are seen filing up the steps of Saint Martin-in-the-Fields for a similar service. Also on the same day, the Bishop of London leads an assembly of clergy in the dedication of a memorial to the war dead in Hyde Park.
